Scots Pine is a very important specie thoughtout all of Europe. It has always been the most abundant and most flexible resource for Europeans. Scots pine was used in virtually every area of daily life. Many houses had their interiors made completely in Scots Pine. And, for barns and outbuildings, it was the only option. For these reasons, Scots Pine, today, is becoming an important reclaimed specie as well.
Original Surface Pine Flooring: As with all species of pines, the aging process is unique and quite beautiful. No other specie of wood ages quite like the pines. The Joinery Co. considers itself fortunate to have access to considerable quantities of this unique interior stock.
Original Surface Hand Hewn Beams: The Joinery Co. offers a complete selection of hand hewn beams in reclaimed Scots Pine as well. A wide range of sizes are available.
Original Surface Reclaimed Scots Pine Flooring: This material is readily available in a Select Plainsawn / Character Plainsawn mixed grade. Other special grades are readily available and can be provided with sufficient delivery times. Widths range from 3.5″ to 9.0″ and lengths from 3′ to 12′. Standard thicknesses are 5/8″ and 3/4″.
Original Hand Hewn Beams: Hand Hewn beams are available in a variety of dimensions ranging from 4″ x 4″ to 12″ x 12″. Lengths range up to 30′.
The Joinery offers rustic furniture as well as flooring, paneling, and hand hewn beams in Reclaimed Scots Pine.
