Antique Scot’s Pine Flooring is reclaimed with its original surface wear and color undisturbed. This flooring is thickness planed using the smooth top surface as a reference guide. Then, a new tongue and groove is milled on it. The result is an entire floor with authentic surface wear and color. As with all species of pines, the aging process is unique and quite beautiful. No other specie of wood ages quite like the pines. When sanded, Scots pine is very similar in appearance to other types of yellow pines.
