Plankmaker

Plankmaker is a new division of The Joinery Company whose main focus is creating very wide and very long plank flooring from Douglas Fir. It also crafts wide plank floors  from most other native American species, as well as Reclaimed Chinese Elm, Russian Oak, Russian Pine and Russian Larch. Plankmaker hand builds cabinets, stair parts, general millwork and furniture as well. Our wide plank flooring products are the finest such products you can buy. Whether you choose reclaimed 200 year old planks, or the beautiful wide planks from our managed forests, Plankmaker`s standards of premium quality and superb craftsmanship are present. We can craft either solid or engineered wide plank floors in any thickness, up to 20″ wide and 30′ feet long. Our engineered floors come standard in 3/4″ (19mm) thickness with a 4 or 5mm sawn wear layer. A variety of surface and edge treatments are possible with both types of floors. These include square edge, brushed, and hand planed. All floors can be nailed, glued or floated over radiant heat, concrete, and wooden subfloors.
